A presumed paradise

In the search for a new planet, mankind made a mistake and turned a supposed paradise into a hostile environment with a terraforming project. The hopeful planet Wolf1061CA got the designation Icarus.

Despite the hostile conditions on the planet, individual prospectors still venture onto the planet, hunting for valuable raw materials to bring back to the orbital station. You are one of them.

Icarus is a session-based PvE survival game for up to 8 players in co-op mode.

At first glance, Icarus is a paradise and offers a very pretty, vast and immersive game world. Vibrant flora and fauna, as well as a dynamic weather system with winds, thunderstorms and more, bring the planet to life.

You'll find crystal clear streams, huge mountains, gloomy caves and some canyons just waiting to be explored by you.

PvE alone or in a group

Whether you go on the hunt for resources alone or together with your friends is up to you. The game grants benefits for both approaches.

If you go on the journey alone, you'll get various "solo" bonuses that will let you face the harsh game world alone. On the other hand, if you want to take your friends with you, you'll lose these bonuses, but with combined strength you should easily be able to compensate for this fact.

Don't forget the time

Unlike many other survival games, Icarus works with a session-based mission design. At the beginning, you choose a mission and then head to the planet. You then have a certain amount of time to complete the mission before you have to flee the planet with the captured resources. If you miss your flight, it was all for nothing.

Therefore, find the perfect way for you to survive the game world, recover the resources and then get to safety. When you start a new mission, you always start from the beginning - without a base and without resources. Thus, the game always presents
you with a new challenge.
